FINDING YOUR PASSION
A primary ingredient for success is passion, “find your passion and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Passion is energy and it comes in many ways. If you are passionate about being a singer or musician, listen to the successful people who have been down that road. You need to figure out what you are passionate about.
There are many different jobs for singers, songwriters and musicians. If you love to write songs but are not comfortable performing live, let someone else sing them or record them for you. Many contract singers will record original songs for songwriters.
If you are a singer and love to sing, but you really don’t have the passion for singing in front of a live audience, there are other options. Contract singers are also hired by contractors for movie scenes. The production company will hire singers to come into the studio and record for different scenes in a movie.
If you are a singer and love acting as well, musical theater would be a great option. If you love singing in the studio, but not on stage, you could do studio work. The Carnival Cruise Ships hire singers and musicians to work in the cruise lines shows. There are jobs in theme parks, churches, synagogues, voiceover, radio or singing in a band.
If you are a musician and love to perform, use that passion to make your mark. But if you are not passionate about performing, but love to show others how play. Then become a music teacher working for a school or even better open your own music school. You need to find what makes you happy and what you really love to do.
If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. Your passion will guide your way. You are unique, different and fabulous in your own way!
