It’s important to set aside daily practice sessions, whether it’s 15 minutes or 2 hours. Daily practice will build stamina just like an athlete. If you are an athlete, you will not make it the top unless you practice. It’s the same with a singer or musician. Beneath the success lies hard work and dedication.
For instance, Lady Gaga writes music for an hour every morning, works out for one and a half hours and practices piano/voice for an hour and a half in the afternoon. Which means she spends two and a half hours every day practicing. This schedule is when she is on tour. So, you can include a show from 7:30 to 10 pm. That is another two and a half hours of workout and practice. Giving her a grand total of five hour a day!
Always practice healthy singing with good posture, no straining and proper technique. Listen to your body and pay attention any problems you may feel. A star singer becomes successful through practice. A trained voice spends many hours practicing and fixing the troubled areas. Every singer needs to learn how to control and master their voice.
Never doubt your own abilities and embrace your unique sounding voice. Just accept the sound of your own voice, even if you think it sounds imperfect. Learn to love your own voice because it is uniquely you and no one else sounds exactly like you.
