FINDING YOUR PASSION
A primary ingredient for success is passion. Passion comes in many ways. If you are passionate about being a singer or musician, and want to gain insight, listen to people who have been down the road you are on. Listen to the people who have accomplished the goals you want to accomplish. Listen to what experienced successful singers and musicians have to say.
If you are a singer and love to sing, but you really don’t have the passion for singing in a band. There are many other avenues for singers. If you are a singer and love acting as well, musical theater would be a great option. If you love singing in the studio, but not on stage, you could do studio work. Work for a songwriter recording their original songs, if they don’t sing. There are contract singers hired to sing for movie scenes. The Carnival Cruise Ships hire singers and musicians to work on the cruise lines.
You need to figure out what you are passionate about. Find the right path for your passion of singing. Maybe you love to write songs, but you are not crazy about performing them. Let someone else who loves your songs sing and perform them on stage.
If you are a musician and love to perform, use that passion to make your mark. But if you are not passionate about performing, but love to show others how play. Then become a music teacher working for a school. You need to find what makes you happy and what you really love to do.
If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. Your passion will guide your way. You are unique, different and fabulous in your own way!
